However, recently, the India Cyber Crime Coordination Centre and the National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit, functioning under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, have issued a very important warning regarding a new type of job scam using Artificial Intelligence. According to the investigating agency, cyber criminals are now targeting common people through fake recruitment processes and looting them.
Highly sensitive and personal information of job seekers is being collected in the name of fake online interviews or digital hiring. Especially those who rely entirely on online job portals and digital hiring platforms for employment are at the greatest risk from this new type of fraud.
🔴 How does the AI job scam actually work?
Cyber fraudsters first send job offers with very attractive salaries and benefits to people. Then they compel or convince them to participate in various processes such as video interviews, face verification, eye scanning, and digital KYC. According to government officials, during this process, criminals skillfully obtain the candidates' facial recognition data, biometric information, and all important identity documents such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, etc. Subsequently, this sensitive information is used in heinous crimes such as digital fraud, identity theft, and unauthorized use of bank accounts.
🔴 Artificial Intelligence technology has increased the threat of cyber fraud
According to cyber experts, this new job scam has become much more dangerous than before due to current advanced AI tools. With the help of these cutting-edge technologies, especially Deepfake technology, cyber fraudsters can now instantly copy or replicate a person's facial identity, extract all personal data related to identity, and create completely fake digital profiles. Not only that, using this stolen data or information, they can also commit financial fraud and identity theft. This means that the danger is no longer limited to just one OTP or bank details being leaked, but rather this danger now extends to a person's entire digital identity. Once a person's digital identity is stolen, recovering it becomes extremely difficult.

Many common people think that sharing their information with others is a normal thing, but they do not know what terrible events can happen in the future as a result. According to police and cyber officials, stolen facial data and biometric information can be used in many serious crimes. With the help of this important information, cyber criminals can very easily do the following things:

◽ Unusual demands for biometric data: If a company asks you to scan your face via video call, do an eye exam, or submit highly confidential personal documents at the very initial stage, then be cautious immediately. This could be a confirmed scam or fraud.
◽ Psychological pressure to rush: Fraudsters often adopt a tactic. If constant pressure is being applied on you to complete the recruitment process immediately and in a hurry, or if you are being scared that the job will be lost if you do not respond within a specific time, then understand that something is wrong there.
◽ Suspicious and strange email IDs: It is a very common fact that professional companies always use their own domain. If the email from which the job offer comes is from a common Gmail, Yahoo, or any other unverified personal ID instead of an official or genuine company domain, then it could be fake.

Cyber experts advise that before accepting any job offer, the company's official website should be checked very carefully. Verify their email domain, check the company's digital presence on LinkedIn and other social media. Also, before participating in any kind of video scanning or biometric verification process, confirm whether it is completely genuine or not. Furthermore, it is extremely necessary to always avoid clicking on any unfamiliar links, downloading suspicious applications received via WhatsApp or SMS, and staying away from fake platforms. It is the need of the hour for the younger generation to be more aware in this regard.
🔴 If you fall victim to this fraud, then immediately do these things
If due to carelessness you ever feel that your very personal information has fallen into the hands of cyber criminals, then do not panic and without delay immediately take these steps:
◽ Immediately call the government's National Cyber Crime Helpline number (1930 for India) and explain the entire incident in detail. Always save this number in your mobile.
◽ In parallel, go to the government's official Cyber Crime Portal and file a formal complaint.
◽ Immediately alert your bank and mobile service provider, so that you can avoid any major financial loss from your account and can safely block your cards.

वर्तमान समय में बेरोजगारी की समस्या पूरे देश के साथ-साथ हमारे राज्य में भी एक बड़ी समस्या बन गई है। नौकरी की तलाश में रहने वाले युवा-युवतियां इंटरनेट के जरिए विभिन्न स्थानों पर आवेदन करते हैं। लेकिन हाल ही में, भारत सरकार के गृह मंत्रालय के अंतर्गत कार्य करने वाले इंडिया साइबर क्राइम कोऑर्डिनेशन सेंटर और नेशनल साइबर क्राइम थ्रेट एनालिटिक्स यूनिट ने कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता या आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस का उपयोग करके की जाने वाली नौकरी की धोखाधड़ी के संबंध में एक अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण चेतावनी जारी की है। जांच एजेंसी के अनुसार, साइबर अपराधी अब नकली भर्ती प्रक्रिया के जरिए आम लोगों को लक्ष्य बना रहे हैं और उन्हें लूट रहे हैं।
नकली ऑनलाइन साक्षात्कार या इंटरव्यू और डिजिटल भर्ती के नाम पर नौकरी चाहने वाले लोगों से अत्यंत संवेदनशील और व्यक्तिगत जानकारी एकत्र की जा रही है। विशेष रूप से जो लोग नौकरी के लिए पूरी तरह से ऑनलाइन जॉब पोर्टल और डिजिटल हायरिंग प्लेटफॉर्म पर निर्भर करते हैं, वे इस नए प्रकार की धोखाधड़ी में सबसे अधिक खतरे में हैं।
🔴 एआई नौकरी धोखाधड़ी वास्तव में कैसे काम करती है?
साइबर ठग या धोखेबाज पहले लोगों को अत्यंत आकर्षक वेतन और सुविधाओं वाली नौकरी के ऑफर भेजते हैं। इसके बाद वे उन्हें वीडियो इंटरव्यू, फेस वेरिफिकेशन अर्थात चेहरे की जांच, आंखों की स्कैनिंग और डिजिटल केवाईसी आदि विभिन्न प्रक्रियाओं में भाग लेने के लिए बाध्य करते हैं या मना लेते हैं। सरकारी अधिकारियों के अनुसार, इस प्रक्रिया के दौरान ही अपराधी उम्मीदवारों के फेशियल रिकग्निशन डेटा, बायोमेट्रिक जानकारी और पहचान से संबंधित सभी महत्वपूर्ण दस्तावेज, जैसे आधार कार्ड, पैन कार्ड आदि को चालाकी से हासिल कर लेते हैं। बाद में इस संवेदनशील जानकारी का उपयोग डिजिटल धोखाधड़ी, पहचान चोरी और बैंक अकाउंट के अनधिकृत उपयोग जैसे भयानक अपराधों में किया जाता है।
🔴 कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता की तकनीक ने साइबर धोखाधड़ी के खतरे को बढ़ाया है
साइबर विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार, वर्तमान समय के उन्नत एआई उपकरणों के कारण ही यह नई नौकरी धोखाधड़ी पूर्व की तुलना में कई गुना अधिक खतरनाक हो गई है। इन अत्याधुनिक तकनीकों, विशेष रूप से डीपफेक तकनीक की मदद से साइबर ठग अब पल भर में लोगों के चेहरे की पहचान की नकल या कॉपी कर सकते हैं, पहचान से संबंधित सभी व्यक्तिगत डेटा निकाल सकते हैं और पूरी तरह से नकली डिजिटल प्रोफाइल बना सकते हैं। इतना ही नहीं, इस चोरी किए गए डेटा या जानकारी का उपयोग करके वे वित्तीय धोखाधड़ी और पहचान की धोखाधड़ी भी अंजाम दे सकते हैं। इसका अर्थ है कि अब खतरा केवल एक ओटीपी या बैंक की विस्तृत जानकारी लीक होने तक ही सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि अब यह खतरा एक व्यक्ति की पूरी डिजिटल पहचान पर मंडरा रहा है। एक बार किसी व्यक्ति की डिजिटल पहचान चोरी हो जाने पर, उसे पुनः प्राप्त करना अत्यंत कठिन हो जाता है।
🔴 बायोमेट्रिक डेटा चोरी होने पर क्या-क्या नुकसान हो सकते हैं?
बहुत से आम लोग यह सोचते हैं कि अपनी यह जानकारी दूसरों को देना या शेयर करना एक सामान्य बात है, लेकिन वे नहीं जानते कि इसके परिणामस्वरूप भविष्य में कितनी भयानक घटनाएं घट सकती हैं। पुलिस और साइबर अधिकारियों के अनुसार, चोरी हुआ चेहरे का डेटा और बायोमेट्रिक जानकारी का उपयोग कई गंभीर अपराधों में किया जा सकता है। साइबर अपराधी इस महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी की मदद से नीचे दिए गए प्रकार के काम बहुत आसानी से कर सकते हैं:
◽ वे आपके नाम पर नकली बैंक अकाउंट खोल सकते हैं, जिनका उपयोग आपराधिक गतिविधियों में धन के हवाले के लिए किया जा सकता है।
◽ वे आपकी पहचान का उपयोग करके नए मोबाइल नंबर या सिम कार्ड सक्रिय कर सकते हैं।
◽ वे आपका नाम और पहचान बदलकर विभिन्न बैंकिंग धोखाधड़ी अंजाम दे सकते हैं और आपके नाम पर बड़ी मात्रा में ऋण भी ले सकते हैं।
◽ यहां तक कि सरकारी दस्तावेजों में भी हेराफेरी या बदलाव करके वे आपको कानूनी उलझनों में फंसा सकते हैं।
साइबर संस्थाओं ने इस पूरी प्रक्रिया को डिजिटल पहचान चोरी का एक बिल्कुल नया और सबसे भयानक माध्यम बताया है।
🔴 इन विशेष संकेतों को कभी भी नजरअंदाज न करें
यदि आप भी वर्तमान में ऑनलाइन माध्यम से नौकरी की तलाश कर रहे हैं, तो आवेदन और भर्ती प्रक्रिया के दौरान इन विशेष बातों को हमेशा याद रखें और सतर्क रहें:
◽ बायोमेट्रिक डेटा की असामान्य मांग: यदि कोई कंपनी एकदम प्रारंभिक चरण में ही आपको वीडियो कॉल के जरिए चेहरा स्कैन करने, आंखों की जांच करने या अत्यंत गोपनीय व्यक्तिगत दस्तावेज मांगे, तो तुरंत सावधान हो जाएं। यह एक निश्चित स्कैम या धोखाधड़ी हो सकती है।
◽ जल्दबाजी करने का मानसिक दबाव: धोखेबाज अक्सर एक तरकीब अपनाते हैं। यदि भर्ती प्रक्रिया को तुरंत और अत्यंत जल्दबाजी में पूरा करने के लिए आप पर लगातार दबाव डाला जा रहा है या निर्दिष्ट समय के भीतर उत्तर नहीं देने पर नौकरी चली जाएगी ऐसा डराया जा रहा है, तो समझ लें कि वहां कुछ गड़बड़ है।
◽ संदिग्ध और अजीब ईमेल आईडी: एक बहुत सामान्य बात है कि पेशेवर कंपनियां हमेशा अपना डोमेन उपयोग करती हैं। यदि नौकरी का ऑफर आने वाला ईमेल किसी सरकारी या वास्तविक कंपनी के डोमेन के बजाय किसी सामान्य जीमेल, याहू या अन्य किसी प्रमाणित नहीं हुए व्यक्तिगत आईडी से आया है, तो वह नकली हो सकता है।
◽ कंपनी का नाम और पता स्पष्ट न होना: यदि इंटरनेट पर कंपनी की किसी भी प्रकार की विश्वसनीय डिजिटल उपस्थिति नहीं दिखाई देती या उनके किसी पंजीकृत कार्यालय की विस्तृत जानकारी नहीं मिलती, तो यह धोखाधड़ी का एक बड़ा संकेत है।
🔴 नौकरी का ऑफर मिलने पर क्या-क्या सावधानियां बरतनी चाहिए?
साइबर विशेषज्ञ सलाह देते हैं कि किसी भी नौकरी के ऑफर को स्वीकार करने से पहले कंपनी की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट को अत्यंत सावधानी से जांचना चाहिए। उनके ईमेल डोमेन को सत्यापित करें, लिंक्डइन और अन्य सोशल मीडिया पर कंपनी की डिजिटल उपस्थिति की जांच करें। साथ ही, किसी भी प्रकार की वीडियो स्कैनिंग या बायोमेट्रिक वेरिफिकेशन प्रक्रिया में भाग लेने से पहले यह सुनिश्चित करें कि वह पूरी तरह सत्य है या नहीं। इसके अलावा, किसी भी अनजान लिंक पर क्लिक करने, व्हाट्सएप या एसएमएस के जरिए आने वाले संदिग्ध एप्लिकेशन डाउनलोड करने और नकली प्लेटफॉर्म से हमेशा दूर रहना अत्यंत आवश्यक है। युवा पीढ़ी के लिए इस मामले में अधिक सचेत होना समय की मांग है।
🔴 यदि आप इस धोखाधड़ी के शिकार हो जाएं तो तुरंत करें ये काम
असावधानीवश यदि कभी आपको ऐसा लगे कि आपकी अत्यंत व्यक्तिगत जानकारी साइबर अपराधियों के हाथ लग गई है, तो घबराएं नहीं और देरी किए बिना तुरंत ये कदम उठाएं:
◽ तुरंत सरकार की राष्ट्रीय साइबर क्राइम हेल्पलाइन नंबर पर (भारत के लिए 1930) कॉल करें और पूरी घटना को विस्तार से बताएं। इस नंबर को हमेशा अपने मोबाइल में सेव करके रखें।
◽ इसके समानांतर सरकार के आधिकारिक साइबर क्राइम पोर्टल पर जाकर एक औपचारिक शिकायत दर्ज करें।
◽ अपने बैंक और मोबाइल सेवा प्रदाता संस्थान को तुरंत सतर्क कर दें, ताकि आपके अकाउंट से हो सकने वाले किसी भी बड़े वित्तीय नुकसान से बचा जा सके और कार्ड को सुरक्षित रूप से ब्लॉक किया जा सके।
